Community Access & Participation

At Affinity Care WA, we’re passionate about helping people with disability take part in their communities and feel included. Our service sits under the NDIS category of Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities, and it’s all about supporting you to get out, connect and enjoy life the way you want to.

Taking part in community, social, recreational and economic life matters for personal growth, wellbeing and quality of life. Our team assists and supervises participants across a wide range of activities, in the community and in dedicated centres, so you can join in with confidence.

What our support includes

  • Community engagement. Support to attend local events, volunteer, join cultural activities and get involved in community projects.
  • Social and recreational activities. Outings, leisure activities, sport and group get-togethers, chosen around your interests.
  • Appointments. Support to get to medical appointments, therapy sessions and meetings, with reliable transport, good company and a helping hand along the way.
  • Shopping trips. Help to get the things you need, enjoy the outing, and build your budgeting and money skills.
  • A personal approach. Everyone’s interests, abilities and support needs are different. We build your activities and support around your goals and preferences.

Our team’s priority is your safety, comfort and enjoyment, while you try new things, meet new people and build the skills you want.

If you’d like to know more, get in touch with us. We’ll sit down with you to plan support that fits your interests and goals.
